Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor
SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor is being used to monitor both Windows and Linux systems for up/down status and any application errors by our IT department.
- Notification of disk space usage.
- Historical cpu/memory usage.
- Application/server grouping.
- Alert setup. Email notifications.
- Ability to use some other functions without needing more modules/products.
- Ease of setup.
- Minimize server downtime.
- Correlations between application speed and resource usage.
- Single pane of glass.
We run both. SolarWinds does do a better job of historical resource usage.
