We currently use SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor to monitor an enterprise cloud based VoIP solution for several state agencies. We also recommend it as an NMS solution to companies we provide professional services to when they are searching for a solid and reliable monitoring solution for our product. It provides us the ability to stand up our system and quickly implement a network/server monitoring solution for a wide variety of clients.
- The ability to monitor multiple vendor specific services and their up-time
- Deploy templates directly related to our cloud-based VoIP system
- The ease of administration coupled with the granularity it provides for monitoring a wide variety of applications, servers, and network health
- Documentation can be a little confusing for first time users.
- Navigation of the web interface is also a little confusing until you start using the product more.
