Overall Satisfaction with Spiff
I use Spiff for real-time insight into my commissions earned each month, broken down by deal, and how much is attributed to my base commission vs. any spiffs.
Pros
- It's very simple. I don't need it to be complicated so I really like the simplicity.
- It's easy to navigate. The UI is straightforward and clean.
- I can easily see my month over month performance, which is very useful for me personally to see how I'm trending.
Cons
- It would be cool to see how my commission stacks up against others on my team, even anonymously. Could be very motivating.
- Idea: A feature that shows me what I stand to make if I hit my next commission tier
- It allows me to see my commission data without having to email anyone else on my team or wait for an end-of-month report.
- Less time spent digging for this info and having to reach out to my peers in sales ops to get it.
I am able to see exactly what my commissions are BEFORE the end of the month. I'm not waiting on any end-of-month reports, so I can correct errors in real-time before my paycheck hits.
I hadn't used any other tools like this in the past, just excel docs and manual reports from sales ops or finance.
