before Spiff I had a 30-60 min meeting with my manager or finance to go over deals closed and make sure what I had, what Salesforce and my manager had were all on the same page. If there were discrepancies we had to review and deep dive into every deal to make sure it cleared. I felt that the company didn't trust me at the time, and I also didn't trust the process. Spiff eliminated all of that by giving us the visibility we needed
It is a night and day difference between Sheets and Excel. The fact that it is integrated with Salesforce and calculates commission as you close deals make it super transparent and efficient when it comes to tracking your performance and commission. Spiff takes the manual work out of the equation. Reduces human error and increases collaboration.
