Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Stampli is used on a daily basis to automate our AP processing. Our old process involved following up with emails for invoices that had outstanding approvals, downloading said emails and invoices into a consolidated PDF, and entering each one manually into Netsuite. Stampli has helped save time and effort with its efficient system that includes automatic reminders to approvers as well as syncing with Netsuite on a frequent basis without issue.

Pros and Cons

Learns and automates how invoices are booked (i.e. what accounts to use, class codes, dept codes, reading invoice details, etc.)
Records all actions, comments, approvals for auditing documentation
Recognizes and flags any duplicate invoices
Validated syncing with our accounting system (NetSuite)

Due date - sometimes it recognizes the vendor's net terms, other times it doesn't and needs to be corrected.

Return on Investment

In the manual process, it was easy for approval requests to get overlooked and forgotten. Stampli sends automatic reminders to approvers which has helped our approval process go down from a week to 4.4 days!

Alternatives Considered

Tipalti

Tipalti was not system friendly to what we needed (syncing with NetSuite) and the implementation process was frustrating. We experienced delays and no responses from their team.
