Overall Satisfaction with Tealium iQ Tag Management System
We are using Tealium to manage our tags across our website. It is managed by one team (about five people). We leverage Tealium with marketing tags and analytics tags.
- No longer having to hardcode tags on specific pages is a huge plus. Being able to manage them through one tool is fantastic.
- Leveraging our data layer makes coding tags simply plug and play.
- The web companion makes troubleshooting minimal!
- There are some quirks around multiple people editing within the same profile.
- I often find myself writing my JS extensions in a text editor and then pasting into the extension. If one has a large JS extension, it can get hairy trying to search through it.
- I'd love for Tealium's user authentication to include an SSO option.
- Improved control over tags.
- Way less dev time on implementation of tags.
- Control of different marketing tags in one tool is great.
I personally have not used any other TMS nor do I want to. This product has worked straightaway with hardly any issues.
