Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

Teamviewer is used by the IT Support team to help troubleshoot users remotely. It is used for the entire organization and helps when users are having issues and cannot fix it themselves.

Pros

  • Remote control access.
  • Ease of use.
  • A widely popular software.

Cons

  • Better support for Mac.
  • Better support for iPhone.
  • Less need for support staff to have to go to remote events to provide support.
  • Staff can get support wherever they are as long as they have Internet access.
  • Easy for support staff to get connected to remote users.
  • BeyondTrust Remote Support (formerly Bomgar)
They are generally helpfully when dealing with issues with the software. Not a huge fan of the billing options. To change Billing info required a call into support. This should be available on the web portal like most other services.

This software is great as it allows the Support team to help troubleshoot issues remotely. Not good for conference calls or screen sharing in meetings.
