Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

My dedicated rep is always responsive to my questions. Additionally, she will know well in advance when she won't be available and if something were to come up during that time who I should contact.
Trinet is used by finance to process the bi-weekly payroll and monthly commissions, as well as quarterly and annual bonus payrolls. Additionally, we use it for benefits - health, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K).
  • Easily process payrolls
  • Quick add/termination of employees as well as updates to existing employees
  • Simple connection to benefit providers and renewal process
  • Very rigid. I realize Trinet is working with many companies but there could be some more options in terms of certain items - ability to have different start dates for benefits based on start date, first of following month etc.
  • More benefit providers in some states.
  • Price on administrative fees.
  • Positive impact on bottom line to both company and the employee in relation to benefit costs
  • Employees have the ability to choose the best fit for benefits
  • Self service option on all items frees up administrative time and paperwork
The costs related to benefits are not comparable. Other providers that I have checked come in at a higher price.
Very well suited for small companies that do not have the manpower to have a dedicated payroll person
