Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is being used as our HRIS and Payroll system. The biggest help is having benefits being part of the PEO experience.
  • The TriNet portal makes it easy for HR to enter their own employee life cycle changes.
  • TriNet helps with the open enrollment process and coming onsite to educate employees regarding benefits.
  • Although I am an experienced HR professional myself, it always helps to have someone else in HR to consult with before making certain employee decisions about discipline or termination. It helps to have someone to talk to before moving forward to ensure we are in alignment and making the best decision.
  • I would like to see more user guides for the HR Administrators.
  • I think open enrollment could be better if TriNet generated a menu of the benefit plans for easier comparison every year and not just upon initial setup/implementation.
  • Mobile App for Performance Management
We recently had a change in our Client Services Associate which has helped greatly in response time. Our concerns were addressed.
The system is pretty easy to use. I would like to have more visibility to the benefit enrollment when an employee ages off their parents plan. I think an electronic form would be easier than printing, filling it out, scanning and emailing back. Once an employee submits that, I don't have access to see what's going on.
  • TriNet has been a big help in storing all our compliance policies in one spot instead of manually tracking employee acknowledgments.
  • TriNet has allowed the HR admins to enter our own changes which happen frequently. We would much rather make these changes ourselves then send them into a PEO for them to make the change.
We have used Alcott before. TriNet's system is much more robust.
Overall, I am happy with TriNet and would recommend to a colleague. Seeing the things I recommended on the cons list implemented would have me increase my rating to a ten.
