Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TrinNet is used across the whole organization and has allowed us to recruit better talent, as we can offer full benefits (especially good health insurance) to our employees who are spread throughout the country in several states. Before becoming partners with TriNet, we could not offer health insurance to our employees.
  • On-boarding of new employees
  • Benefits renewal tools to make informed decisions
  • Reminding us of payroll submission deadlines
  • Not sure how the new payroll reports are going to turn out. Still prefer the old version.
  • Administrative fee for each payroll is not transparent. Wish I had a better grasp on that.
TriNet has improved a lot on the support side. I like only having one dedicated team member (as opposed to two in the past) working on our company, and she is very often available on the phone or very responsive to email. I also find that if I need to talk to somebody else, I get good support.
The website is getting easier to use in payroll processing entries.

Still not sure about the new reports and the launching of the new functionality. I know exactly what reports I need and I am concerned that they will not be available any more. I don't want these reports to become "too fancy" and not usable.
  • TriNet has allowed us to generate great job offers with complete benefit packages.
  • TriNnet has reduced the time we spend on HR administrative tasks.
  • We are confident that we are in compliance regarding all the different state HR regulations because of TriNet.
At the time, ADP didn't allow us to offer benefits to our employees who were spread out in different states, and we could not have all our HR tasks under one place. Our HR person had to process payroll through ADP, then negotiate health care with a broker, then maintain an independent 401(k) plan, which was crazy! With TriNet, it's all under one place and the interface with the employees is great.
  • Well suited for employees working remotely in different states. There is no need to get state specific tax IDs and keep track of all the reporting.
  • Not as easy to use for interns paid a flat fee per month, but where we need to enter an hourly rate and number of hours.
