Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is used across our entire organization of 15-20 employees. They handle our payroll function - including onboarding new employees, our regular payrolls and employee transitions. They also handle all of our health care benefits program including medical, dental and vision. Finally, they provide us support for major HR issues that we must manage.

  • Site search could be improved.
  • Turnover with company representatives.
In general, they are very thorough and make sure to get you the correct answer. Sometimes getting the answer you need can take some time though, especially since they tend to promote their customer service reps pretty quickly, meaning we keep getting new ones every year or so and the new ones don't always know the answers you seem initially.
The website has improved, especially the reporting function with pre-developed reports that they create. We have not pushed too hard on the report customization as most of the canned reports work fairly well. Their search functionality for the website is dated and could be improved - I seldom find what I need through search.

We use TriNet for our entire team of 15-20 for all of our HR functions. I think they handle payroll well (although it is not always intuitive, it takes some initial training) and benefits. Their reporting functionality has improved greatly and they've done a good job anticipating the needs of their customer base by being proactive in creating reports for the PPP loan program.
