Our primary verticals are local state government, non-profits, and professional sports franchises. Due to the complex nature of their time recording, payroll, and reporting needs, we have excelled at helping our clients with challenging reporting needs; easily capture the detailed hours they need, and then produce job costing reports, grant allocation, or assist with complex tax/financial reporting.

The software, while incredibly powerful, is also extremely user-friendly. Because of this, it allows my department of six employees to support over 60,000 users. We have taken government payrolls that used to be paper and pen from a 3-day process of collection, compilation, and entry to a couple of hours while increasing the integrity of the data and offering robust reporting - in many cases downloadable to 6 different formats (CSV, Excel, PDF, HTML, XML, Text). In addition to opening up data integration possibilities, this also allows the end-user to perform other tasks that are a value add to their organization, rather than spending countless hours on menial data entry tasks.

UKG Ready has a vast training aid/video library available thru the product, has the ability to structure end-user learning, and offers educational webinars and an annual conference where partners can interact with the product managers.

This product really has few peers in the SMB market for time and labor. The product was developed by SaasHR in Branchburg, NJ, purchased by Kronos in 2012, and acquired via a merger with Ultimate in 2020. The bones of the original product have stood the test of time and the incredible R&D at UKG Ready just keeps improving it.
