Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready

WuXi is bio, pharma and manufacturing. We use it for all HRIS and payroll with a feed into PlanSource for benefits. Benefits did not have a good implementation and still very difficult time with the two systems. On the HRIS and payroll side it is OK. For payroll they have many outstanding tax issues. UKG is transforming the the way they take care of tickets and it has improved slightly.

  • interaction between UKG and PlanSource
  • Reporting is much better and accurate then previous system, but complicated
  • No ROI yet as only been with 1.5 years
UKG user ability is quite good. They could spend time on a better audit process on employee records
There is a lot of room with integration. The actual implementation went OK (outside of PlanSource) but working with UKG for file feeds to carriers needs a lot of room for growth. Length of time it took for automation (even the easiest carriers) took at least 6 months.

Companies need an HRIS specialist as the coding and functionality are hard to grasp as a non HRIS specialist. Instructions are hard to read even though they have many process guides to review.
