Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready
We use UKG Ready to support our Payroll processes. We are a growing organization, and this helps us to automate a lot of our processes. UKG Ready helps to support all our Payroll needs, reporting, timekeeping, etc.
Pros
- Time Keeping.
- PTO Requests.
- Reporting
- Audit Trail.
Cons
- I would like to see the balances for PTO described and grouped differently. Employees continue to be confused with the "Projected balances" section. Maybe this can be worded one way for the users and another for the admins.
- The Passwords to access the system, plus the need for a verification code, is a huge pain point for our deskless workers. We have a lot of frustration around accessing the system to clock in and out, request time off, etc. The increase in user adoption is a struggle.
- It would be great to have UKG Pro and UKG Ready in one application on the mobile app; having access to areas to simply punch in and out for your daily shift is counterintuitive.
- Automation. Our time sheets were done manually. This has also helped as we have premiums, night shift pay, per diems, etc. that all had to be calculated and input manually.
- Employees, even though they have an issue with the access and navigation, do find the tool easy to process their requests.
- The ability for leaders to run reports and get information on the dashboard, to get a summary on one screen, is helpful and reduces the employee's time to find this information and process what needs to get done.
The missed punch report has helped us a lot in our organization. It has helped us to monitor employee engagement with the tool and identify cost reduction efforts, as our leaders have been not utilizing the process correctly. As mentioned in my survey comments, user adoption is low due to difficulty accessing and navigating the system therefore we had leaders going in to complete the needed activities like punch in/out for our employees or the employees did not complete the action, hence the missing punches. We have been able to utilize the audit trail and the report to identify the pain points and rectify it with the individuals to improve productivity and save costs.
Very well. It is the most user-friendly system. The level of customer support from UKG is helpful. Having many options to engage support is helpful, like the ERM and the Krew Manager. Reporting can be made less complex, but once you learn it, it is not so bad.
