Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UltiPro is being launched in over 144 component companies in our organization. It has led to the discovery and resolution of compliance issues, allows for roll-up reporting and will eventually allow for increased functionality.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Employee self-service is fairly intuitive and easy to use.
Core payroll works well and allows all employees to be paid accurately.
The Ultimate team works hard to resolve issues and to partner with our organization.

Cons

For a decentralized payroll, it is difficult to do items that are only available in the back office such as year-end processing, tax recon and reversing entries.
The interface between Core and UTA.
Recruiting and onboarding do not allow for component company security.
