Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

Ultipro is being used by our entire company as our payroll and human resources system. By users being able to log into their payroll, see their own paystubs, W2s, and other pertinent information, this has eliminated numerous requests to the HR/Payroll Department for this type of information. Also the ease of just needing internet access, not company website access, has really helped for my traveling employees and others located outside of the corporate offices.
  • The reporting system in Ultipro is outstanding. The ease of creating new reports and the library database of system generated reports is better than any of our previous payroll systems.
  • I love being able to see exactly what my payroll is going to look like, immediately before I press submit. This has eliminated so many problems that I had with my previous payroll system and allowed me to have better control of my payroll.
  • The customer service portal is so convenient when I have an issue that I need resolved - I can easily submit a request to my customer service representative or anyone if needed.
  • For salaried employees that end their employment within a month, I would like for the system to automatically calculate their correct hours worked on payroll rather than me having to do this manually.
  • The main page where I can place my company information could be better laid out. Some employees don't realize that there are arrows on each side of screen that allow you to have more than one page.
I have found Ultipro reporting a 100% better than ADP's ReportSmith. I recently needed to update a basic report that I had previously used for non-discrimination testing for my 401k plan. The report customer support rep that I was working with helped me fix the errors that i had with my report. When I called back after our call once I noticed another error, the rep was leaving work, but immediately logged back on to her computer to help me with my report. I was very impressed by the dedication of their staff.

UltiPro Implementation

Every implementation that i have had with Ultipro has been very smooth. The customer support team including the implementation specialist assigned to that specific implementation have been very attentive, informative and always available for questions or concerns. All documentation is very accessible and detailed. Ultimate Software continues to surpass my expectations with each implementation that I have completed. I am very pleased with Ultimate Software and their attention to detail.

I felt that on line training was very beneficial to me and I liked that I could even do the training from home and experienced no problems. It was so convenient. All of the on-line classes and/or training that I have ever taken from Ultimate Software are very good and I always learn so much. I especially like how some of the classes are taped so that I can take the training at my own pace.

UltiPro Support

I am 100% happy with the support that I receive from Ultipro, from my salesman all the way to my customer support representative. I have never encountered anyone in my six years of working with Ultipro to be less than stellar which is totally the opposite of my previously payroll provider, ADP.

No - There is no charge for customer support that I am aware of. I've never had an issue with the current customer support that I receive so I can't imagine why I would even need premium support. I am very happy with the level of support that I receive from Ultimate Software. I really enjoy having a dedicated customer support rep and also the ability to contact a Rapid Response Team if I need an answer or help that minute.
Once I had an employee incorrectly listed as making $100,000 per hour instead of per year. When I transmitted payroll (without thoroughly checking my payroll report as I should have), it caused me to be overdrawn at the bank. When I contacted support, they immediately helped me fix the issue, resubmit my payroll and the employee nor my boss was ever the wiser.

Relationship with Ultimate Software

I gave Ultipro this rating because my salesperson was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Ultimate Software. He wasn't just trying to sell me something for the sheer purpose of closing a sale, but was determined to sell me a product that made my life easier and perform the functions that my job required. Also my salesperson didn't leave once the sale was complete, he is still there checking in on me to make sure that I have all the tools I need and that I receive the most "bang for my buck".
