Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Data Center Backup and Recovery
Unitrends Cloud Backup is reliable and automatic. Daily reports detail local and cloud backup jobs, and alerts of potential problems. Their recent addition of threat analysis of file changes between backups makes it even better.
- Broad support of Operating Systems.
- Native support of Hyper Visors.
- Some important functions are difficult to find or nonintuitively placed.
- Their licensing team found the right mix of retention vs cost.
- The ability of access backup date locally or cloud is a real time saver.
- The cost of managing the system is bester than most as we have fewer failed backups.

- Druva inSync, Veeam Backup & Replication and Azure Backup
Too many gotchas/network hiccups with other options we've used. The Unitrends solution leverages the native storage subsystems which no performance impact during backup/replications. Azure Backup is too expensive for our needs.
