Overall Satisfaction with Varicent Incentive Compensation Management

We currently utilize the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management. It is used for our sales incentive compensation plans. (Formerly bonuses and increases as well which recently moved to Ultipro.)
  • Follows up when we have specific questions in a timely manner
  • Great referrals for implementation partners (Workcentive)
  • Highly technical knowledge and experience
  • Account manager is hard to understand in email (e.g., contract renewals, upgrades, etc.)
  • Translating technical information in a clear concise manner
  • Not always sure whom to go to for a particular issue
  • Scheduling regular updates
  • Motivated sales force
  • Transparency of results for leaders of sales groups
  • Tracking and historical data source
It's been great. Any changes require technical support, but for day-to-day usability, it's great.
I can't think of one since we've been with Varicent. Our implementation partners (Workcentive) are amazing--lots to say about them.
We would really like to use this platform for variable incentive and long-term incentive tracking and management. The current set-ups very basic and don't work with the complexities of our plans.
We did look at other vendors, but Varicent stood out in terms of offerings for the price. There were certainly fancier options, but this hit all marks--cost, quality, and features.

I would recommend Varicent Incentive Compensation Management to future users. We have had a very positive experience, even through the transition from an IBM solution back to Varicent Incentive Compensation Management.
