Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this to back up our Microsoft 365 Mailboxes, Sharepoint Sites, and Teams Groups. We primarily use this for redundancy and data loss.

Pros and Cons

These backups are relatively quick when processing.
The reports after the backups are very detailed.
Veam Support for this product has been very quick to respond to our issues and concerns.

When submitting logs for troubleshooting, It would be nice if there was a better response time or a time frame provided for when we should expect a response.

Veeam for Microsoft Office 365 Needs Assessment

We have other Veeam Products we use to backup our local servers, and we felt we could put our trust in other Veeam products to safely and securely backup our sensitive information.

Usability

From my experience, it has been a useful tool that is not only easy to use but easy to incorporate into our system.

This benefits us greatly, specifically because of some of the sensitive data we deal with. We've had a case where we needed to recover data due to a disgruntled ex-employee.

Resorting files to the original location would be one that I can think of; an ex-employee deleted files we needed to have.

Deployment Choice: This gives us the ability to backup not only our on-premise data but also gives us the ability to backup cloud services Infrastructure flexibility: Technology is always changing and we like the fact that this gives us the ability to change our backup plan depending on what services we have, whether its cloud services or changing local hardware.
