Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
We use Veeam Backup for O365 to accomplish compliancy with
our cyber risk insurance and to protect the integrity of our data. Before, we
had no way of recovering emails or sharepoint data outside of the default
retention and recovery methods that were provided by Microsoft. We also cannot satisfy
the needs to allow for recover in case of a ransomware attack against our
exchange environment, rare but possible.

- Needs an easy way to remove license usage
- Needs an easy way to remove a mailbox from the repository to free up space

- Veeam have helped our business stay in compliance with external vendors
We lacked a method to reliability recover missing data from sharepoint and exchange outside of the recycle bin and deleted folder. This was also a way to protect the integrity of our data within our organization
We have benefited from this. There are examples where managers would accidentally delete files and we needed to recover them. Another example is a disgruntled employee would delete their files upon termination and we were able to restore.
There are times where we would restore to original location, and there were times when we restored to a PST to give to another party for review
The ease of setting up a new backup job. The ease of browsing and restoring from the explorer. This helped us accomplish data compliancy with our vendors and customers
