Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365

In our company, it is being used by the organization as a whole for our Office 365 (Exchange, Sharepoint and One Drive). It addresses our need to protect against ransomware and accidental deletion. Microsoft does not have easy restore options.

We had someone delete some important emails in Exchange and were not able to recover them. We searched for products and came upon Veeam Backup. We then got demos for each of the products on our short list. We then tried each, got pricing on each and were confident in a couple, including Veeam.
The interface is very easy to use and is very similar to their other software Backup and Replication.
Easy to recover a mailbox or mail items and search for what I want to find.
Yes. An executive deleted an email, and I was able to recover the email for him and get it right back in minutes.
Yes. We have restored emails and files in One Drive back to the original location. We have also downloaded some items from One Drive to zip files.
Restore items from Exchange: It was easy to recover an item back to someone's mailbox.
Restore items from One Drive: It was painless to download items we needed from One Drive.
Barracuda restores were slow and painful and forced us to buy an appliance or use their cloud.
Pretty good, adding additional 365 applications like Teams would make it better

Veeam Backup is well-suited to be able to restore data from Microsoft Office 365. We can restore emails from Exchange, items from Sharepoint, and documents out of one drive. We do not really use it for high availability or site-wide recoveries, Microsoft is responsible for the entire 365 site recovery.
