Does what it promises: install, configure and then sleep peacefully!

We use Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 for the complete backup of all our data from all users in Office 365. Especially with regard to the Corona pandemic, for example, Teams was used more and more - here it is of course elementarily important that we also have access to this data in case of emergency.

We just want to have an additional backup of our data in the Microsoft cloud. Veeam offers us this. Since we have been using Veeam for the backup of our VMWare clusters for a long time and it works error-free and stress-free, the choice for a backup solution of our M365 data was obvious.

So far, we have only had to restore small amounts of data, and this has worked flawlessly. For example, a colleague deleted a file in his One Drive account and then left the company. The user account was deactivated, later the department needed this file - so the easiest way was to restore the file from the Veeam backup.

We think it's good that there are these differentiated options for recovery, but (fortunately) haven't had to use them in the M365 environment yet. However, since these options work great in the VMWare environment and have already been used by us several times, we assume that they will also work as usual in the M365 environment without any problems in case of an emergency.

As has been said several times: The solution simply works without any problems. Backup is often the unloved child and should simply "work". This is exactly what this product offers us!
