Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Backup is a major factor on the network side and having a solid product is very important. We had a split setup where some older and physical servers used our existing software and the newer stuff used Veeam. Well, that's a good way to do an A/B comparison and because of that, we've slowly moved everything over to Veeam because of how much better it runs.

- Solid backup for worry free restores

Most of our works loads are being protected by Veeam. A few go to cloud, most go to local disk. Unless you're hitting up against a license count or other limiting issue, why not throw all your devices at it and have the peace of mind that everything is safely backed up!

The need for change is when you're sick and tired of failed or corrupted backups. Having to give your backup option a whole extra day to get full backups is quite the tipping point. Once you dabble in Veeam you really want to move as many things onto it as you can.
Cloud DR is a nice feeling of knowing your able to bring down your most important servers at a DR or pop up site if the need arises. Using Veeam to protect cloud based servers is great and can save you the hassle of using the cloud vendors solution (and prices).
We've got a few shares setup to be protected by Veeam and just like the rest of the product it's fast and simple. Restoring tons of files because someone decided to delete everything is quick and painless. It's almost too good that users are less careful with their files as a result.
