Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
I've been using Veeam Backup & Replication for two/three years now and I think it's one of the best and most complete backup solutions on the market. Right now I'm replicating two virtual machines in a separate host as a disaster recovery solution. Using the Community Edition I have a complete backup suite at no cost, which is really amazing. Flexibility and large compatibility with many technologies make it a perfect solution for any company.
- Virtualized workloads
- In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads
- Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
- Enterprise UNIX servers running Solaris & IBM AIX
- NAS filers
- Failover or recovery scripts/plans for orchestrated recovery
- Failover or recovery scripts/plans for orchestrated recovery
- Integration into the virtualized local environment.
- Backup virtualized machines.
- Disaster recovery planning.
- Migration of backup history when changing backup repository.

- Provide disaster recovery that previously we didn't have.
I've implemented Veeam Backup & Replication because our company didn't have any disaster recovery plan for the main physical server which host our two virtual machines.
