Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

Our organisation uses Veeam Data Platform Backup and Replication as both a local backup solution, and as a Disaster Recovery solution via replication to a Veeam Cloud Service Provider. The solution protects 30 virtual machine hosts, and provides us a comprehensive solution, which is extremely cost effective at this scale.

  • Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
  • Cloud-hosted VMs within AWS or Azure

The requirement arose to source a comprehensive disaster recovery solution. The previous solution didn't fit the defined requirement, so an alternative solution was required.
Yes - however at present only in the limited capacity of replication to a Veeam Cloud Service Provider.
I think it's an excellent, easy to configure platform for both on-premise workloads, and many cloud-based scenarios - if you're using AWS, GCP or Azure. However currently no support for Google Workspace, so this is a shortcoming for the education sector which is often heavily Google based.

Veeam Data Platform Support

In my experience, Support responsiveness is appropriate to severity of impact. High impact support issues receive very rapid response, low impact cases are dealt with appropriately.
