Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Typically, I use Vidyard throughout the sales process. Prospecting, contract reviews, onboarding & client handoff. We also use Vidyard as our hosting platform for all the video content on our site.

Usability

I think it works great on Chrome and Gmail, but the backend (portal) could use some user-friendly improvements.

Alternatives Considered

Wistia and Brightcove Video

Pricing-wise, it's definitely in between the two options above. It offers more capabilities than Wistia and is less expensive than Brightcove.

Use Vidyard in almost all sales scenarios where the connection is important. Vidyard is great for asynchronous messages that need to be shared amongst clients and teams. We use it to aggregate all video metrics and reporting, as we are able to publish to basically any media site (youtube, LinkedIn, website, Facebook, etc.)
