We work with Groupe Access for our WatchGuard purchases. They offer competitive pricing and have been working with WatchGuard for over a decade. With a large team of dedicated professionals and a strong sales force, Groupe Access is a pleasure to work with and we feel confident to continue doing business with them.
Local centralized management has been around for a very long time and is robust and powerful. It is easy to use and manage all devices in one location. However licensing costs are limited with no option to purchase single licenses. WatchGuard Cloud is the new centralized management system. While it is certainly very easy to use, the features are not as robust and there's still missing features that are available on the local system. Nonetheless, WatchGuard is constantly adding new functionality to their cloud version so it's just a matter of time for it to catch up and surpass their legacy system.
For logging and monitoring, WatchGuard Cloud works extremely well. We have limited experience with WatchGuard Cloud for device management. As of our last attempt at setting up a device to be managed on the Cloud, there were certain features and granular controls that were still missing that we needed to have.
I have had Fortinet Security experts try and compare the ease of use and advanced security functionality of their products but have always been left unimpressed. Many people seem to argue that Fortinet is a much better product but there is nothing that I have seen that Fortinet can do that WatchGuard cannot also do. Cisco is for the diehard Cisco fans that just do not know any others and do not care to pay extra for nothing.
