Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

It is used by the whole Sales team to manage/understand comp plan achievement, payments, and next promotion criterion. All of our bonuses and commission are put into the platform for us to approve/deny on a per-month basis, and it gives a breakdown against yearly quota achievement so we understand where we are against promotion criteria.
  • Breakdown in % against achievements.
  • Full overview of previous achievements.
  • Central place for us to access documentation, pay slips, commission breakdown, etc.
  • Provide a place to give feedback within the platform.
  • Month/day breakdown of when criteria is hit instead of monthly.
  • A better month by month breakdown (more detail about what/who).
  • Central place to streamline comms info.
  • I can better understand previous achievements.
  • Understand where I am against bonuses as well and comms.
This isn’t something I manage directly but I have seen the impact of it. From the data in Xactly and the data we have on sales rep performance, we have been able to change how we are paid commission, by better understanding quota attainment, the average time to achieve promotion bonus, etc and a new complaint was rolled out this year off the back of this.
We have a lot of the features at hand but I do think that some form of territory achievements/understanding of where quota is paid out against target account lists, for example, would be a really good benefit to look into. Perhaps this could be used as a breakdown of which accounts have been assigned to commission paid and have actually progressed in deal cycles.

I really like using the tool. I’d already recommended it to previous colleagues as something that would be useful for the business I just left. Seismic is the first time I have used it but I think it's a great tool overall. Some extra features would be nice around raising issues with monthly pays, etc. It would be nice to have a workflow where you can raise questions and get them solved on the platform
