Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

For the past four years that I've used Xactly, it has been used across the entire Sales organization. I am not sure about the entire organization itself. We use it to manage our commission sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Each sale is logged in Xactly and it will break down the commission from each plus any other add-on payouts.

  • It is not as "pretty" as some other softwares but gets the job done.
  • It is up to the AE to make sure Xactly is correct.
  • Sometimes Xactly doesn't track as thoroughly.
  • I've been able to compare the commissions to my CRM reports.
  • Breaks down easily exactly the sale and commission earned.
Something that I do is check my commission every month and compare it to my reports to make sure I'm getting paid out appropriately.
We only use it for sales commissions, but there are quotas and additional payouts included in this so I can actually see where I'm at for the month, quarter, or year and where that tracks towards those quotas. I do not know if sales planning, territory, or forecasting are on the roadmap for us.
Easier to track commissions across the org. There is no struggle of manually taking data from one place and putting it into Xactly, avoiding human error.
I enjoy it for sales as a kind of a one-stop-shop to track commissions. I do wish there was an easier way to tell if your commission is correct in Xactly vs your own reports of what you are expecting.
