Likelihood to Recommend I believe if your managers can't make time to have in-person or live check-ins with their employees, the 15Five surveys and tools can create a semblance of care and follow-up, but many employees resent how impersonal it is. If you are able to have more face-to-face interactions or Zoom one-on-ones, those are almost always better-received by employees.
Read full review Carta is perfect for any sized organization when shares and stock options are in the picture for new/seasoned employees alike. If a company does not provide these benefits to employees, it may not be the best fit for them unless there are other value-adds the tool can provide in other areas.
Read full review Pros The Pulse Check feature is both easy to use and allows staff and management to gauge how team health is. The metric and key performance tools are very well designed. Automated reminders and reporting are great features. I find the customer services to be best in class. Equity Manageent - All stock certificates for our investors are held in Carta making Equity easy to manage. Stock Option Issuance - Options are issued in Carta and the entire option life cycle from issuance, approval, and exercising is handled in Carta. User Interface is very easy to follow. Reporting - it would be helpful to see an entire org chart breakdown of the goals hit/missed at the end of each quarter. Recommendations - focus points/alerts on OKRs that aren't progressing and auto-generated action items you should take would be really useful functionality. Could offer integration into accounting platforms or HR/payroll platforms to further cut down on manual input. It should allow for custom user creation to allow for varying levels of access based on role in the company; currently, all security roles in the platform are out of the box without any modification allowed. Not only do I enjoy being a user and "filling it out" every week- but I would personally buy it if available for goal tracking in my personal life I love it that much!
Read full review Usability It's very simple to use - not overly complicated. You wouldn't need training to use. There are some features I never use because I don't understand -- like one on ones. However we use without and still find a lot of value in it!

We work with other vendors in the people management space and performance tracking/management who offshore their support or force us into long queues to chat for support and it just doesn't support our needs very well. 15Five is responsive and speedy. We constantly evaluate our vendors for their support and have switched vendors in the past in other areas because of limited support capabilities
Read full review Every time I have sent a message to Carta's support team, they've responded within 2 business days. The support team is very helpful and always has answered my questions competently and professionally. Many of my questions have also been answered through their extensive support articles. Carta makes available a lot of information that has helped reduce te administrative work of answering questions for our employees as they are able to get most of the information they need through Carta's website.

Read full review Alternatives Considered Visually 15Five blows Yammer out of the water! Yammer was easy to use as well, but it felt very difficult to get on to and was not single sign-on when we were using it. 15Five allows for easy login with single sing on feature and has less "clicks" to get to where I need to be on the program. I also love the app way more than Yammer!
Read full review I was not personally involved in choosing Carta over any other platforms. However, I can say I'm very happy with Carta. Carta allows for a central place to manage stock options from multiple companies and is extremely user-friendly and intuitive. With Carta being a market leader, it's nice to find new employers already using it as well.
Read full review Return on Investment It holds each employee to a certain standard by having them select their own list Gives them the opportunity to reach their list of goals Being able to accomplish each set goal and/or priority gives a sense of pride in each person's work as they are able to check off what has been done On the negative, it can also show what the employee is not being done and may show poorly if there is a consistent pattern of not completing tasks Read full review If a company's cap table is wrong that is legally considered fraud ( yes, a capital F fraud ), as in there could be criminal repercussions, and almost assuredly whatever transaction that requires it to be accurate will be canceled.
