Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

ChurnZero

Well suited for subscription-based products or offerings where a client uses a cloud-based platform as part of their service. Less appropriate for brick and mortar applications.

Pros

  • Intuitive and provides a great user experience through its simple web design; takes no time to set-up and jump right in.
  • Offers integrations with multiple other software platforms to provide a flexible and inclusive business tool.
  • One of the best options available at this price point; plans available to add more features to adjust to your business needs.

  • Predict client issues ahead of time.
  • Provides a very helpful dashboard that gives a good overview of tasks that due, past due, as well as all accounts owned with total revenue from those accounts.

Cons

  • While many aspects of the software are intuitive and simple to implement, much of the marketing automation functions assumed a level of technical familiarity that was beyond the average user. As soon as a tutorial tells me to get something from GitHub, I get the idea they're talking to a technician.
  • The help files, tutorials were of low quality and not always kept up to date with changes in layout of the software etc.
  • During the period we were using Agile CRM, I had to constantly trawl through their update logs and forum. This is because, as the name Agile suggests, the development and improvement of the software was constantly evolving in an organic fashion. But many of the developments were not relevant to us; majorly they were integrations with obscure apps that I would never use. But I had to understand 20 changes to locate the one that had some relevance to me.

  • There are a few tech/displays specs that could be improved on their main dashboard. These are very minimal and is nothing that affects the work that I have to get done.
  • It would be really helpful to have the ability to have contracts attached to the brand's profile and not have to go into Salesforce to do that.

ChurnZero its pretty easy to use once you have received the proper training on the platform. Most of their features are very self-explanatory and you just need a few attempts and tries around the platform to master the usage of these features. Having someone who dedicated to this platform and dedicated to helping your team with it, is also key to success.

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Alternatives Considered

Agile CRM is much less expensive than Salesforce. It might not have all the potential of those thousands of add-ons, but for those who have basic needs – and the need to customize to some extent, it more than delivers.Agile CRM has more advanced features, particularly around marketing automation, and hub spot does. While hub spot is free for the CRM element, using the other tools that come standard and agile CRM raises your cost considerably.Outlook for business just isn't organized in a friendly enough way for you to see who you know and to keep things current.

I am familiar with AS400, Salesforce and other CRM software. Other alternatives no doubt satisfy needs. The main difference, and it is a big one, is it is as if ChurnZero completed a thorough analysis of all competitors and what those software providers do and do not do. They have what the others have, but better. Then, they have much more than the others have, filling a big gap in the market. One factor that I think this was easier for them to do this than more legacy systems, such as AS400, is that it was new and innovative with updated market information from the start. It did not involve a need to try and take where you are and without revamping everything, make it what they need it to be to be more comprehensive. As a result, I sincerely see an opportunity in the CRM market space for ChurnZero to take a majority of the market.

Return on Investment

  • Agile CRM is such an integral part of our business, that I can imagine life without it. If we didn't have it, it would mean missing important calls, not following up on key leads, and not having current contact information for many of our clients, vendors, and prospects.
  • In addition to cost savings, agile CRM also helps me save time. It's very responsive, so updating records is not a hassle. I particularly like being able to import details from someone's LinkedIn page without having the type of thing.
Mike Wittenstein profile photo
  • ChurnZero has been able to help segment and identify any areas of concerns when it comes to a customer account early and efficiently. Saving time.
  • It is tough not being able to utilize Journeys and Playbook together to help automate processes, but I hear this is on the horizon!
  • Using the tool at a basic level is easy, however, to drive deeper this is tough without help from support. For example, segmenting can be tricky before speaking with a support team member. ("Or" statements!).
