Ideagen Quality Management (formerly Q-Pulse, Qualtrax and Qadex) integrates with an organization's existing processes and acts as the backbone of its processes, providing workflow automations and comprehensive document management, enabling teams to identify and rectify any issues before they arise. This solution is designed to elevate an organization's performance with digital quality management solution.
RSA Archer is fantastic at cataloguing, personalizing assessments, raw reporting, and capacity to add custom fields. It is a little clunky around adding contextual information to notifications, peeking into data before attempting to load pages, quick navigation or determining linked (or sub-linked) relationships. These are all concerns that can either be worked around with an appropriate data scheme or with careful administration of the sub-routines.
One example of where the quality management system, document module excels for us is the loading, distributing, and acknowledging documentation. We are easily able to load SOPs, guides, and policies for staff to read and then sign to state that they are aware of the contents of the documentation. This is crucial for our laboratory as we need to know if staff are aware of the Health and Safety practices and policies within the laboratory.

The training module is basic. If your training program is more complicated than simple onboarding training, then the Q-Pulse training module will be a bit of a challenge. It's not impossible to use, but there are better programs out there. I understand though, that this is an area that is being improved on soon.
Q-Pulse QMS is totally integrated into our organization now. It does the job nicely and to change it would cause unnecessary disruption to our operation.
Good tool to get the information communicated, approval workflow, and easy to add new findings/questionnaires. Seems to be compatible with different browsers and little downtime. Only request for improvement is to add an export feature with fewer clicks. Maybe batch export.
The Q-Pulse QMS client works great in our organization within the head office as the server is hosted on-premises. Remote locations connect in through Citrix, which reduces the usability. However, Q-Pulse QMS is currently transitioning to a web-based model, which will remove this problem. Once the system is fully web based, then this will no longer be an issue.
Our RSA Archer team is dedicated to finding solutions for our organization. They haven't mentioned any issues with receiving support with deployment or bug fixes, and generally the platform is very dependable. They are always very excited about delivering a version upgrade and presenting any new features that provide more dashboards or chart types.
The support team for Q-Pulse QMS is fantastic. Ideagen has invested a lot in this area, opening offices all around the world. Q-Pulse QMS product managers are also very responsive to requests and improvement suggestions. Ideagen also hosts annual conferences, which bring their customers together where ideas can be shared and we can meet the people developing the program.
It has been roughly 5 years since I have seen Securevue, so a lot can change, but to me it felt like several products were purchased and an attempt was made to piece them all together into a single solution (and I believe that may have been true). It also required agents on endpoints which did not fit the model I believed customers were looking for. MetricStream appeared to be difficult to install as it took their own engineers some time to get it installed in my lab environment. I did not think their web interface was as intuitive as RSA Archer. Customization to the platform was possible to some degree, but required a lot more work and technical skills than required by Archer. I did like the landing page for MetricStream which called out the important action items for the current user, but Archer v6.X now has this feature.
A lot of users find it difficult in using software such as MTeams and MS SharePoint when compared to using Ideagen Quality Management (Q-Pulse). Ideagen Quality Management (Q-Pulse) allows you to keep a better audit trail in my opinion. It allows me to know who has read and acknowledged the document, who has approved the document and who has even distributed it.
Hard to quantify in numbers., but Q-Pulse QMS has provided a large increase in regulatory compliance. Regulatory and customer audits routinely return positive results and compliments to Q-Pulse QMS.
