The better question here is for the company themselves. How important is the quality of your product and your user experience? Instead of managing things via Google Docs, spreadsheets and email, how about have a portal which organizes feedback, provides a platform to complete end-to-end testings and create a community? Centercode is that solution.

LambdaTest

[Lambda Test] is suitable while building a website and for cross browser testing on emulators and simulators but if something is extremely mission critical and you can not afford slightest of error you need to find other solution with real device testing. Web app testing can be done, even page behind login is also there but native app testing of APK files is not there. Before making a decision check with your needs. Apart from these missing capabilities they are pretty much on point with the performance and usability of the platform.

  • Offers geolocation testing in automation which is amazing!
  • You can select browsers, timezone, country and run the capability to start testing instantly.
  • We could scale up with parallel testing on local environment without any maintenance cost.
  • Integration with project management tools like JIRA, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab which makes our test cycle easier

LambdaTest

  • I'll recommend them to provide access to multiple users at the same time for the same virtual machine.
  • When I switched between the versions of the browser, the session expires and sometimes it feels lousy.
  • If I do not consider above two, I don't think there is a room for improvement.

Test statuses, such as Lambda Error and VM allocation, allowed us to quickly troubleshoot any build that failed while executing. So overall, it's been great to use for our Tester and Developer team.

The customer support team is very active and cooperative. Once, I contacted them in their off timings because of an issue, I got an instant reply from the executive and he resolved the issue very efficiently. Alternatives Considered

Centercode

Centercode is better than Google Forms and Sheets for our use case of a long ongoing beta with participants rotating in and out 10000x times better. However, it might be a little too complex for what we needed. We may have been better off with something in the middle--a little more lightweight and cheaper.

  • It has easier IU
  • Faster and many times feels more stable than competitors
  • LambdaTest has a good enough trial period. what do you expect to get from 1 minute trial from browser-stack?
  • No other company is providing anything similar to LT Browser. Other alternatives are very expensive or unstable.
