Chorus.ai is well suited for any business that is looking to get a better understanding of the way that their sales reps are selling to customers. They can hone in on selling tendencies and trends and become better sales coaches with this information. One sales manager can support more reps because he doesn't have to be on every live call in order to provide feedback and support. As COVID restrictions lessen and we are in person more with our customers, Chorus.ai will probably not be used as much during sales presentations because they will be live in person. That is the only type of sales environment that might not be well suited for Chorus.ai.

Clari can be used as an excellent platform to include all critical data for sales purposes. All forecasting activities and management can be handled in one single place like Clari. Also, Clari apps give you an immediate area for your notes and to provide visibility to others to help and improve the sales process.

Pros

Chorus.ai

  • Good sales engagement, clearly hungry for our business and was committed to the process.
  • It's early days for us at the moment so it's hard to say, but we have no regrets with investing CI. We are learning a huge amount from recording and reviewing calls and believe that this will be a part of our Enablement strategy. We particularly like the transcripts and sharing options and look forward to further development of the product in this regard.
  • We have high expectations of the Salesforce integration but have not used it as yet.

  • Allows for more efficient funnel management - quick ability to update sales funnels in real time.
  • Provides transparency for leadership to see what is happening with the deals in real time.
  • Able to see the whole story within the sales cycle for upper management down to rep level, as well as those not within sales, to get an understanding of the state of the business.

  • Honestly as an AM I love it. Maybe more prompts for new users based on their role.
  • More integrations to larger partners, Slack, etc.
  • Maybe a way to build a database and send me alerts of calls that relate to my job based on.... not sure what factors, but for me... New products that we are launching and how my team is pitching them.

  • Limited functionality. Really the only use case for me is forecasting and deal reviews.
  • Allow all managers to edit reps stages and numbers with a notification.
  • Does not require manual commit numbers to be confirmed. Should auto-commit the previous week's number if no change is needed.

It's hard for me to give anything more than a 5 at this point. The primary reason is that we have only used it for a few months and I'm still getting a feel for the level of value it provides both to me and the team. In 4 or 5 months I'll have a better understanding of its value long term

Chorus has a great user experience. It is very easy to navigate and figure out. You do not need anyone to walk you through the usage and process as it is very easy to determine on your own, even if you are not a technologically savvy person. It is very easy to use in a variety of settings and the organizational structure makes it even easier to navigate.

I personally have not had too many major issues with Chorus, but the times that I have reached out to their customer support team I have always received great responses in a very timely manner. Their support team is trained in a very polite way and cares about resolving your issue. They are knowledgeable and helpful and the customer service line does not take long to connect to a real individual.

Clari is very willing to jump in and build out use cases. They will work to do anything for you. That said, their follow up is not great. We have had to reach out for follow up several times on a project, which is still not complete. I wish they taught us how to complete what we want, rather than doing it in house for us

I personally did not select Chorus, but it does a great job! I used to use Gong at my previous company, and I liked that too. I have found that Chorus' transcript tool does a better job of translating the script of the call

Not familiar with other products in the quote to close space. I have not used others, as Clari has been our first and we have been very pleased with it, so I have had no need to evaluate other competitors to it.

  • With new hires, it has allowed them to hear more calls and not have to actively be seeking out live call listenings.
  • Has allowed more visibility on difficult calls for managers to hear direct feedback from merchants.
  • has allowed manager to provide feedback after the call to send back to the Mx.

  • Clari has helped some of our managers become more accurate in their predictions as well as help them assess quickly how business is flowing. This helps us focus on the deals that are critical and take action. They feel more productive and in control of their pipeline.
