Likelihood to Recommend Each member of our team can choose their own view, so they can see only what is relevant to them. Plus, we can keep track of everyone's progress without bothering them. Our team loves that everyone can have a different view, so they see only what's important to them. In addition, we can keep tabs on everyone's progress without pestering them. The user interface has some nice quality of life features, such as the different views for different members of our team.
Read full review I would recommend Daptiv for anyone who is look for a collaborative tool that is easy to use and provides excellent results for project management and resource allocation. The tool offers many various capabilities and is not isolated for use with one or two workgroups. Its versatility allows many workgroups across many different organizations to use it. In my previous role, I used Daptiv in both a Project Management and Account Services Information Technology role. In my current workplace, I would like to leverage Daptiv for Product Launch and tracking as well as change request visibility in the Release Management Organization of a pharmaceutical company. Both roles and companies are vastly different however Daptiv would serve a great purpose in both situations although my needs are different.
Read full review Pros Easy Projects has a really nice UI. It's really easy [to] work there and make our projects easy to follow. Great support. A few times I had to talk with support about API connections and they answered me quickly and kindly. It's stable. I cannot remember a day when Easy Projects' platform [was] down, so it's really STABLE. Charts and reports are very easy to use Read full review Resource allocation, when fully integrated provides a in depth view of what everyone is working on, as well as their availability. Portfolio reporting provides a good view of where all projects are at in their lifecycle. Time tracking is simple to use. Read full review Cons Easy Projects has some problems when it comes to accessing the site via different methods/browsers. It is either very slow or never works on a tablet. It is not smart-phone friendly. And it stopped working for us in Firefox -- all we could use is Safari or Chrome (we are a Mac-based office). Easy Projects' email notifications are overwhelming. I turned them off completely since I was getting messages every time one little detail was added or changed. While the reports are great, they are somewhat hard to pull. It takes a lot of trial and error -- I would not say the reports are an "intuitive area." The biggest by far is what we fondly call "the screen of death." When you mark the last open task associated with a job as complete, a screen pops up that asks if you want to close the overall job, as well. The "yes" field is pre-selected, so if you are overzealous and click through quickly, it automatically closes the job. I don't know why they think this feature is helpful. We have so many staffers that complain they suddenly can't find their open job -- well, it's been marked completed and goes into the archive. Read full review In my opinion, APIs / integrations are sometimes coming to their limit In my experience, no general archive available - therefore data sets cannot be frozen Data roll-up for different hierarchy levels (program / project / sub-project) is very limited, in my opinion. In my opinion, when having showing a large number projects navigation on project tab is not very handy Read full review Likelihood to Renew EP is great but could be better. EP has been a wonderful tool within our organization, it has helped us control expenses, resources, and the time needed to invest in each project, however when it comes to presenting reports and details it is a bit weak, there are more tools specialized in data visualization, and it would be good to make some kind of integration between EP and the other market alternatives
Read full review As previously mentioned, we were not able to get the product to solve our particular problem. After time spent implementing a custom solution, it was the decision of the executive team to discontinue the agreement. The costs of training the team didn't outweigh the cost of hiring an employee to do the translation of schedules to web view.
Read full review Usability EP is easy to use and adaptable, its menu is intuitive and the design is pleasant.
Read full review The main thing that I have to apologize for is the UI. Does the job but just not the flexible responsive experience that most users are used to.
Read full review Reliability and Availability In the 3 years I have worked with Daptiv I think it is been down once. The ONLY partial outages I have ever had have been with report automation.
Read full review Support Rating In my personal experience, I only needed EP support once and the truth is that they attended me very well and very quickly, they helped me with what I needed, it was a question regarding the use of WebServices, they solved my doubt and then they contacted me another agent to verify that everything was resolved and if they could help me with anything else
Read full review Good support team! Developed relationships and were very pleasant to talk to. Daptiv went above and beyond on ensuring the customers were satisfied
Read full review Implementation Rating I am really satisfied with the implementation of EP in our organization, since it is a very useful tool in our day-to-day work
Read full review I recommend using daptiv resources on your implementation to help with setup and training.
Read full review Alternatives Considered East Projects integrates with other financial systems such as NetSuite and Compass, which allows a great financial view into the existing and future projects and overall financial health of our resourcing. Other systems, such as
Wrike and MS Projects, just focus on project/task management, whereas this is a one-stop shop. It also allows us to manage internal resources.
Read full review AdaptiveWork might not necessarily have robust Analytical abilities that Daptiv IBM
Cognos BI tool have, but from the introduction I have seen of the product it has impressive capabilities. It is still work in progress and still learning about AdaptiveWork and looking forward to implementing and supporting it in the near future.
Read full review Scalability We are quickly able to add more users as needed.
Read full review Return on Investment Increased team collaboration improved the results significantly, because we managed to reduce the amount of time wasted on unnecessary iterations, therefore reducing costs. The reasonable pricing enabled us to enjoy the service we needed with with less impact on our budget than we've expected. Read full review I am in the process of establishing a hard dollar ROI received from Daptiv. However, there have been many soft dollar benefits we have achieved. Soft benefits include IT teams that are more aligned to business objectives, "one version of the truth" for where work is being performed and resources consumed, and more accurate estimation of project requests.
