QuickBooks Online Advanced is a SaaS-based accounting software designed to scale with growing businesses. It includes the functionalities of QuickBooks Online, as well as more robust business analytics, customization, and resource management.
Sage Intacct is better than Xero, Quickbooks, and SAP. While Netsuite has more customization options it is harder to learn quickly. For large teams Sage Intacct is the way to go. NetSuite is great but without a coach to walk the team through where to go and how to setup it can …
Sage intacct is a much more robost system than Sage 50 cloud accounting. Sage Intacct also offers the benefit of having a web based system over a desktop application like sage 50.
I believe the company chose Sage Intacct because it was the best option at the time and would provide all the features needed to run a regional charter school program across multiple school locations. It also was compatible with Bill.com.
Sage Intacct is very similar to Quickbooks. I do like Sage better because it is easier to navigate and allows for more control when looking at entries. Quickbooks had a better matching system when looking at bank recs. I hate having to flip back and forth between Intacct and …
I prefer intacct to any version of quickbooks because it simplifies every process and helps to avoid mistakes. QBO has lots of features that are confusing and requires skills that don't come naturally to accountants. QBD is better, but it still can't pull reports according to …
QuickBooks Online is great for small businesses as it is very user-friendly and extremely easy to use. To do this functionality is a bit lacking on some controls. Also, its reporting and dashboard features were very lacking. Both Oracle NetSuite and Sage Intacct are the top …
Our selection choice came down to Netsuite and Intacct. Netsuite - quite frankly - was just too expensive to take the leap for similar functionality. We also determined that the Netsuite setup would require significantly more outside help to configure and migrate data.
Out of all the above and against Sage, Sage is by far my favorite. It was easy to learn as it was quite intuitive like QB Online, but it also had depth with its capabilities of allowing to be more than just a GL system and more an enterprise system if needed, or at the least …

Chose Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is the most user-friendly while also being robust.
In the past, we used Sage Intacct, and it was not user-friendly at all. The reporting abilities of QuickBooks Online Advanced are far superior to those of Sage Intacct. There are a few features from Sage Intacct that were convenient, like the ability to drill down on an item …
We have been using QuickBooks Online Advanced because of its cost and ease of use compared to other cloud-based accounting software for small businesses and mid-size businesses. Its third party apps have been able to fill holes in its functionality and reporting capabilities. …
Sage Intacct is well suited for most accounting needs, specifically journal entries, accounts payable/receivable processes and cash management. Intacct is also useful for budget planning and integration with financial actuals, as well as report writing to coincide with financial reporting processes on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. I'm not sure that Intacct has the capability to fully house a financial reporting process, but it is a great tool.
I gave this rating more from the standpoint that I enjoy using other bookkeeping platforms more than I enjoy QuickBooks Online Advanced. While QuickBooks Online Advanced is a solid platform that I have no issue working in, there are some areas that could be improved. The biggest of these areas is the overall design of the platform. I feel that when you first log in and are brought to the home screen, everything just looks cluttered.
It allows us to link to bank accounts in order to get up-to-date, real-time information, which is so important in today's lightning speed work world.
The "canned" reports are excellent and allow for extreme customization also. This makes them very helpful to both me and my clients.
The user interface for QuickBooks Online Advanced is easy to navigate and is intuitive for novices. The screens are well laid out and have cohesiveness on each screen to match tasks with others that match up well.
Sage Intacct is continuously evolving and increasing it's functionalities. I am excited to attend conferences to learn what is in the roadmap for future releases. Additionally, using Sage Intacct allows me grow as a professional, I am really enjoy the knowledge that I have within the product to be able to share my experiences.
QuickBooks Online Advanced is not like any other accounting software. With how great the software is now, I would definitely renew QuickBooks Online Advanced
The ease of use as a seasoned user is wonderful; however, new users struggle to adapt to the program efficiently. Better training videos--all in one location--would be beneficial. The use of a "sandbox" environment is a great tool for new employees or for the fiscal department to test certain journal entries or other transactions to verify accuracy of data.
There has only been one occurrence where Sage Intacct was not available to me, however I had already been working a number of hours trying to get a project completed. It honestly allowed me to step back and take a much needed break.
As fas as integration is concerned I don't feel this slows Sage Intacct down at all. However, sometimes I do feel it takes some larger reports more time to load due to all the detail. As well as, I "move very fast" in my motions so sometimes I double click on fuctions too quickly and the system seems to think that I have a duplicate request.
Only a few times have we had to reach out to support, and every time we did, we received a relatively quick response and a solution was found fairly quickly. Only once was there an issue that took longer than a week to resolve, but it still did eventually get solved.
I have taken in person training classes at several of the annual Sage Intacct user conferences. It is very interactive and the trainers are very easy to follow and understand. They are great at getting everyone in the class involved. They also make sure everyone has learned to task before moving to a new one.
The free training is very minimal. For what we pay for the service, I would like more training. We end up training new users in-house because the provided free training is not nearly comprehensive enough. That being said, the training provided, for the material covered, was adequate and relevant for the given topics.
I would not use a thrid party administrator to implement your system, especially if you are going to be modifying the system at all. Use Intacct implementors as they will be able to better support you on any issues that come up after you go live.
Sage intacct is known for its robust financial management capabilities. It offers features like general ledger, accounts payable and recievable, project accounting, expense management and more. It is suitable for small top mid sized businesses and larger enterprises. Sage intacct is highlyscalable and can accommodate the needs of growing businesses.
I have not evaluated any yet. I have used QuickBooks since 2008 and I used Sage in the corporate environment before using QuickBooks. Honestly, I can't remember it because it was early 2000's. I thought about evaluating and looking because of the issues I've had with QuickBooks, but I haven't really investigated.
Sage Intacct provides multiple modules based on business requirements and it will fulfill the client's needs as per their budget.
AP aging and AR aging help clients to make the decision at any time to allow reserve for doubtful debts to ensure the financials are shown with correct values.
Financials are published on time with minimal adjustments or corrections. This client benefits and files taxes on time.
Positive - time and accuracy: Improved bank feeds with rules for automating categorization (expense account) of transactions.
Negative - time and efficiency: Very slow response in data entry such as estimates, purchase orders, invoices, sales receipts, bills & bill payment, and even check writing.
Negative - time and error correction: Payroll taxes and sales taxes remain in their own silos and are very difficult to correct OR wrong to correct with regular ledger and transaction entries.
Negative - time and reporting: Customer activity cannot be tracked using deposits or JE'd transactions. Reporting and research require the use of transaction forms such as invoices, sales receipts, payments, and credit memos. As an example, the transaction register for a customer can be sorted by various parameters. A default is "All" transactions but does not include all transactions -- you have to select "All plus deposits" and you will also not see checks. This is about the same for Vendor activity, where deposits (e.g. refunds) will not show in the vendor's activity register. A vendor credit memo is required, then the refund can be pushed against that credit balance. The credit memo will appear in the vendor register, but a deposit will not.
