Read full review How well is the product customizable for workflow modifications for my clinic? Does the result flow easily for the provider or are there many chunky clicks required? (i.e. one modification to a workflow between the nurse and provider requires 27 clicks.. ok this accomplished the workflow that was needed but at what cost?) Can your system produce customized reports on the fly, is the data real time or lagging? Can the system be tuned in terms of document/note templates and the Graphic User Interface forms so a particular practice/provider/speciality needs can be taken into account?
Read full review Pros Allows for a lot of customization that can make the software work well for small and large practices Can really replace anything you would normally put in a paper chart or use other programs for, with a few exceptions. Manages all your patient data in one place Uses iPad apps as well as desktop applications Read full review Health Reminders- for different patient needs or preventive care/screenings. For example patients who have a diagnosis of Diabetes- their health reminders will show if they need an A1c, foot exam, eye exam, etc. and when it was last performed Orders Tracking- This helps nursing staff make notes on referrals or orders and they are able to look at the order tracking section for all patients and filter it by provider, order type, status, etc. to know what needs to be followed up on or what has been completed and so forth... Tasks- This is a nice feature that has many different options for use. It can be used internally to send a quick message to another user, a phone message, billing message, and any task gives you the option to make it "patient related" if necessary. It can be used by the providers when they make an order they can then send it to the nurse to complete. Lots of different ways for Tasks to be used Read full review Cons There is quite a bit to learn, even if you have experience with other EHR systems like I did, and required our staff and providers time and patience to get accustomed to it. It may be helpful for the Chirotouch team to develop a curriculum of sorts to navigate practices through learning the system in a logical way. The EHR system is higher in price than other comparable systems, especially with all the add-ons - it would be nice if Chirotouch were a little more transparent about what you get when purchasing the item off the shelf, and, more importantly, what features are not included without a package upgrade. The graphic layout and color scheme isn't as "pretty" as other EHR systems I've worked with, and actually looks quite outdated. It might be worthwhile for Chirotouch to work with graphic designers to make the interface a little more aesthetically pleasing. Read full review Sometimes, Intergy tends to crash on occasion, which is understandable. Also, when checking for insurance eligibility, sometimes Intergy will not accept a specific insurance card and I have to call up the insurance to make sure the patient is eligible for coverage. It would be nice if more types of insurances could be added. When creating recalls for patients to remind them to visit, sometimes the system does not cooperate properly. Read full review Likelihood to Renew ChiroTouch has the best customer service I have ever dealt with. They software literally makes my life easier and the office runs smoothly
Read full review Usability It is fine once it is up and running, but the customization takes a long time, does not have some things setup in advance that seem very straight forward, and for most people the learning curve is very high for learning the system even once it is properly setup and customized. However, it is "fine" not particularly impressive. Additionally, their customer support and training is substandard.

Read full review Reliability and Availability Sometimes we get weird error messages. We have been having a problem with our check-in computer and ChiroTouch hasn't been able to figure out the problem
Read full review Performance Generally we never have problems with speed. If we have, it's been because we needed to perform software updates, and then it went back to working quickly.

Read full review Usually they are very helpful. I would prefer they do some of the actual changes I am requesting instead of having me do the work. I feel that they could walk you through it, instead of letting you figure out the desired results on your own.
Read full review Online Training The particular person we were assigned was not very well versed in the software. Several things we asked about we were told we not possible, and then I later figure out how to do them by myself after getting to know the software. I guess that is what comes from trainers who use the system in theory but not in an actual office. They are basically reading off a script that guides you how to set things up, nothing more. If she didn't know the answer, she didn't research it, she just told us it wasn't possible. However, it was a multi-session training spread out over a couple weeks and they did walk you through all the basics. It does take a lot of customization, so this was appreciated. It would have been very intimidating to do without guided support sessions.

Read full review Alternatives Considered We had been using medisoft before and it wasn't organized enough or clear enough for insurance billing, coding and doctors notes. Chirotouch solved all of these problems with the additional bonus of being customizable
Read full review We moved from Intergy to athenaCollector and athenaClinicals. Athena is cloud-based, meaning we can access it from any location that has internet. My staff misses the ease of scheduling in Intergy, but the accountability of users' productivity is amazing. We had more control over document classification with Intergy, but sometimes that's a double-edged sword. When some people label a document "MRI-Lumbar spine" and others call it "Lumbar Spine MRI," there is some redundancy and sometimes important documents get missed.
Read full review Scalability It's reliable, though occasionally has connectivity issues. Their support says it's our computing issue, not the software, but we don't have similar problems with other software. Definitely needs to be backed up daily. We use ChiroTouch's backup and it works well
Read full review Return on Investment ChiroTouch helps cut out errors that cause delays in insurance payments which is always good for the bottom line. ChiroTouch's scheduling and text reminders help us keep the patient notified of upcoming appointments. We love the feature that allows us to set it and forget it ex: retention texts, b-day texts, mass notification texts. Read full review Intergy has had a positive ROI. The financial tracking and tools have been easy to use and helped recover additional monies for practices. Claim Tracker allows practices to have a real time view of all unpaid claims.
