I use adobe acrobat when I need to create PDFs or when I need to digitally sign a document. The software also helps when I am presenting a document to a group or when we share documents. Adobe Acrobat is used widely throughout my entire teaching facility and is sometimes used in training sessions as a means of sharing data.
  • Allows for digital signatures.
  • Allows you to send documents for digital signature request.
  • Allows you to prepare document to be digitally signed.
  • I think that Adobe Acrobat should not cost so much just to create PDFS or to sign documents.
  • Allow for users to be able to import their own signatures as opposed to creating signatures in Acrobat.
  • Allows for easier conversion of word documents into PDFs.
Some scenarios where Acrobat is well suited is when used in-office setting or companies where a lot of documents are prepared and most require digital signatures. I think Acrobat is well suited for any occasion and has the capability to be useful to just about anyone in the right situation.

I use Acrobat for professional documents, invoices, and proposals for my web design business Designz23.
  • Allows for the streamline of professional business documents
  • Allows for signature customization with great flexibility
  • Allows for a fast and efficient workflow.
  • The system sometimes crashes when using a lot of resources.
  • The program uses a lot of resources.
  • The editing features need to be upgraded
Acrobat is well suited for editing professional documents. It is not as good for drawing or drafting brand new templates.

I use Adobe Acrobat DC as a PDF viewer, a PDF editor, to fill out forms that are fillable, to have my benefits forms completed by employees, to have my payroll forms completed by employees, to send protected documents, to make documents password protected, to be able to sign documents, and to view documents I receive.
  • Editor, it is easy to make changes to pdfs
  • viewing, viewing on adobe is simple. There are simple commands to zoom in and out
  • signing, it is easy to request signatures or to sign documents that you need to sign.
  • There could be more features added
  • Simple command for adding and deleting pages
  • deleting information on pdfs
I use Adobe Acrobat DC every day at work. I simply could not work without it. It makes my job so much easier because I can easily view PDFs. I can also easily convert documents to PDFs. I can make my documents PDFs with fillable sections to make electronic enrollment forms and electronic payroll forms. It is helping us become more virtual and paperless and making everything easier.

Adobe Acrobat DC is used company-wide in our organization from reading and viewing PDFs to editing and signing critical documents. It allows us to use a program universally for all our Portable Document Format (PDF) needs.
  • Create & edit shared PDF's instantly with exact text within the document
  • Quickly preview and view PDF documents within Microsoft apps
  • Securely sign critical digital documents with the press of a button
  • Constant version updates makes it difficult to learn familiar tasks
  • Ability to add multiple digital signatures to a single document
I received a final PDF document from a team member and realized there was a typo within the document. Using Adobe Acrobat DC I was able to edit the document and fix the typo instantly without needing to find out what font/size/characters they had used. Adobe Acrobat DC was able to match identically the font used so it looks as if nothing had been touched. It saved me a great deal of time and avoided a potential headache. Highly recommend utilizing the Edit Text feature.

Our organization produces a large amount of content that is consumed by the general public, and other specific audiences. Our organization is required to produce content that meets accessibility standards to ensure compliance with federal accessibility laws. Our preferred document format is PDF and Acrobat DC allows our content creators to use the built-in accessibility tools to ensure that what they are creating is compliant.
  • Ability to check documents for accessibility issued.
  • Ability to reduce the file size of PDF documents.
  • Ability to convert other document formats to PDF.
  • User interface can be confusing to navigate.
  • Lack of good documentation.
From our experience using Adobe Acrobat DC, we have found it to be highly effective when creating documents that are required to be accessible for users with disabilities. The accessibility checker quickly creates a report showing what issues exist within the document. Unfortunately, it can be a little confusing for some users as to where to find the accessibility checker.

I use Adobe Acrobat to create fillable forms for the company, as well as update PDF files that I do not have the original and editable files for. As a designer, I also use this software for error-free, print-ready files. The fillable forms are really helpful as it elevates the company by enabling us to provide customers and affiliates with a stress-free form that they no longer need to print to fill out.
  • Creation of fillable forms
  • Ability to edit PDF files
  • Ability to extract certain pages in the creation of a new PDF
  • Creating a form isn't totally straightforward, but that might be because I am not in Acrobat every day and don't remember the little things.
  • Wish Acrobat was linked up to the Creative Cloud library.
  • Wish you had a preview of a font when choosing a font face.
Acrobat is hands-down the best software that I've used for creating a fillable form. It's pretty straight forward once you've been using the software a bit, though it is easy to forget little things that make life easier if you only use the software a few times a year. Everyone is always so happy when the form is complete because it's a step to making the end-user's job easier.

Adobe Acrobat is the very good tool that is used in my organization vastly. The reason is in my organization there is inbuild e-office which accepts files to be uploaded only in PDF format. Thats why we need to create and share the files only in PDFs. With the help of Adobe PDF my work is little easier because is creates the PDF very easily and that too of low size and great quality. I adore how effortless it is to store, edit, and generate documents for our weekly meetings. The ability to swiftly convert our meeting notes and graphs is simply remarkable.
  • Create PDFs
  • Direct Email and Share
  • OCR
  • OCR for regenerating images into Text for Editing
Adobe Acrobat is very well used to convert any documents into PDF . It is great tool for the purpose. It suites well in budget and with great quality outputs . Whenever my team and I need to keep a document and have it reviewed, we use it. However, we don't use its full capability to take notes or get feedback directly within the document, but instead, we do it in our communication platform. Simplifying its usage could potentially encourage us to utilize this feature more frequently.

It is used widespread for creating PDFs. I personally use it to preserve a document for record or for review/approval. It is in those instances I don't want someone to be able to edit a doc but simply review it.
  • Presents info in a clean manner
  • Does not allow editing of a doc
  • Saves file as a PDF
  • How to save a doc as a PDF could be simpler
It is the default for our organization. Any PDF created is done in Adobe Acrobat. My team and I use it any time we want to preserve a doc and have someone review it. We don't use it fully to get notes/feedback right within the doc and instead do it in our communication platform. Making it even easier to use might lead us to start using this feature more.

We use Adobe Acrobat when we want to protect documents. Adobe Acrobat makes it real simple to send a document to a client to sign and we guarantee this way that the client will sign without changing the text included in the document. Adobe Acrobat is available everywhere therefore its a universal application that every person uses and no one has an issue with opening a sent document.
  • Signing a document.
  • Security for documents.
  • Size of the file sent.
  • Can open the file on a web-page even if you do not have adobe.
  • Maybe the file size can be smaller or more compressed.
  • Signing a document (maybe Adobe can create away to connect it to a drawing platform where you can make your own signature immediately).
  • I believe Passwords can be hacked for documents through certain available applications. This needs to be worked on.
We needed to send several contracts to clients and we did not want any editing to take place to these documents and Adobe Acrobat did the job for us where they were sent for signature, signed and returned back safe. We did not need to re-check the contents again by anyone.

We utilize Adobe Acrobat for various reasons. Primarily anytime we want to share a document and want to keep the formatting and layout we will use Acrobat for this. We also use it to sign invoices, often converting those documents into PDFs, but then using the Signature and date fields to sign off on the invoice. Finally, we use it to mark up documents not in Word format. That annotation tool is easy to use. Ultimately it solves the issue of ensuring consistency with how the documents look.
  • Maintains original document format and layout.
  • Ability to easily sign a document.
  • Easy to turn any document into a PDF.
  • Ability to edit a PDF, even if created from another file format.
  • At times, it feels like there are too many bells and whistles. I'd like to see a simplified workspace layout for the most common tasks to me.
  • Sometimes larger files can get clunky when converting over to a PDF.
  • I appreciate the consistency with the tools and layout of the program; however, I feel that Acrobat could use some layout updates for the software interface.
I feel that Acrobat is universal enough that someone in our organization who might struggle with technology could still easily use Adobe Acrobat for the more common features. I do agree that not every document we markup needs to get converted into a PDF, so in those scenarios commenting on a non-PDF document also works for most in our organization. It just really matters when we want to ensure consistency in the layout of the original document and to prevent from editing that layout.

We used Adobe Acrobat in Document Creation, E-Signature, File Converter, and PDF Editor. adobe covered over needs but we didn't have problems to solve with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Company Profile
  • Edit PDF Files
  • Make Templates
  • Digital Signs
  • OCR English files
  • OCR in Arabic was not efficient
  • Reduce updates by making it as a one package.
Adobe Acrobat is the best oldest software for editing and reviewing PDF files and the best for Digital Signs. and the software has many updates in an annoying way and the Arabic language the OCR is not accurate.

Adobe works very well for my use case. The interface has been decluttered along the years and it's the most straight forward to use and configure.
Licenses can be easily assigned and removed based on usage and there are some editions that have the option to enable SAML integration for SSO services.
  • Easy to configure
  • Easy to deploy
  • Really stable
  • Sometimes it's difficult to find some particular functionality with all the options that it has
  • The signing feature would be best in the category with a few improvements
  • I don't like that you need to be extra careful when downloading the installer because it automatically adds other apps and features that you need to opt out of
Adobe Acrobat works great for everything related to PDF files and publishing documents. It is very well suited for non tech-savvy users when you have basic needs or just need general PDF tasks.

When it comes to more complicated tasks or advanced features, users may struggle a little with the distribution of Adobe's tools and where to locate certain functionalities.

Our daily work includes annotating and signing a lot of PDF documents. We do a lot of work with pdf files, it helps us to encrypt the file before sending it to others in case of sensitive information. Adobe is one of the most popular pdf solutions provider out there and we are using it quite extensively to solve our daily pdf problems.
  • Signing pdf documents
  • Annotation
  • Encrypting pdf files
  • Change UI to be more user friendly
  • Give option to include branding or organisation in the themes
  • Offer more customizable plans and add ons to the current offerings
Adobe acrobat is best suited for all major pdf problems out there.

It helps to edit the pdf file and add annotation to it as and when required.

It helps to sign the documents before sending it out to other team members

It helps to encrypt the files so that they can be shared securely

I use Adobe Acrobat primarily for sharing/editing documents. Normally I receive things first in Word format and then after proofreading we will convert to PDF and use adobe for further editing if needed. Adobe Acrobat is excellent for editing and very intuitive to use. I find the tools easy to identify and work with, both in the desktop and mobile version.
  • Displaying two documents side by side at once.
  • Editing, inserting new lines.
  • Signing documents.
  • I think it should be available as a one time purchase, not a subsciption.
  • Document loading can be a bit slow and laggy.
  • It is a little difficult to adjust column/row formatting.
It is excellent for a work environment where everyone has the same software and they can easily share and colaborate on a document, and you know everyone will be able to open and use the item. It is more difficult if not everyone has access to Adobe products and/or the ability to use a subscription service. If that's the case, I might be more inclined to use a free option (like google Docs) because you know it is universally available. Adobe Acrobat as a product though, is excellent at what it does.

The main idea of this application is to ease people to have a platform where they can view, create, change, print and manage their documents. This application is mainly used in our company for creating documents and presenting it to the stakeholders. It helps us crop PDF pages, change their order, manipulate hyperlinks, digitally sign a pdf file, add comments and so much more. It is also available in so many different languages, like French, German, Japanese, etc. This application is so much compatible with desktop as well as mobile. Also, there are portal in our organization where PDF is only acceptable document.
  • Print a pdf file
  • Viewing a document
  • e-signing
  • Convert a document
  • None that i can follow
Adobe Acrobat is suited in every area of our life. Creating resumes to exporting it to a different document type, to help adding a comment, to giving print options. The experience is surreal and absolutely error-free. The pdf documents can be presented anywhere and to anyone.
I think its not suited scenarios are very less, since this application fits everywhere.

I use Acrobat to produce reports, professional announcements and advertisements, etc. We use the product on a weekly or monthly basis for generation of documents, electronic signatures, and producing high quality deliverables for a range of government and academic clients. We have found that this product is beneficial beyond the basic Adobe Acrobat Reader because the ease of use allows rapid development of documents without having to go through our organization's editors, which saves time and money for our project and clients.
  • Combine, rearrange, and edit PDF documents
  • Produce reports, advertisements, and professional announcements
  • Convert documents from Word to PDF and compress the size for email transfer
  • The program is versatile, but cost prohibitive compared to other applications (Adobe Reader for reading, CutePDF for converting Word to PDF
  • Ease of integrating electronic signatures into documents
  • Generating PDF forms can be complicated
The acrobat tool has a wide range of capabilities to produce high-quality professional PDF documents without extensive training. Compared to other applications like Reader (which only allows reading of PDF's) and CutePDF (which only prints documents as PDF's), Acrobat allows you to combine, rearrange, edit, etc. to produce documents to suit a range of applications. Although it is easy to use for basic functions, some features are better suited to power-users and somewhat clunky, so novices may encounter issues. For instance, a separate addon is required for encrypted electronic signatures in documents.

Adobe Acrobat is one of the main programs that I use for my work. It is used for reading all the pdf plans that we get to creating all our plans that we creat with our drawing program. Most everthing that we get in is through a pdf and that is the program that we use for it.
  • Reading a pdf is the main the most improtant function
  • IF a pdf needs to be edited then you can also do it with adobe.
  • Adding notes, redlines, clouded areas, highlights, just about anythig for revisions, corrections and questions on pdfs, Adobe Acrobat can do it.
  • The tool bar could be more user friendly or be able to set it up the way I would like it to be.
Adobe Acrobat is a great and powerful pdf reader, editor & converter, especial if have the bought version of it. One downside to it is that it takes some time to get used to it and figure out all the tools it has. the toolbar is not the most user friendly, but it is still good

We do a lot with PDFs and the ability to edit them is key. Adobe Acrobat DC is the program I choose because of the ease of use, quick learning curve and reliable results. The conversion aspect is one of my favorite parts.
  • Edit PDFs.
  • Convert PDFs.
  • None.
I do a lot of technical documentation and the ability to put data into a format where it can be used by readers on a variety of devices and with different reading capabilities makes PDFs the best choice. I’ll take As-Built drawings and put them into PDF format then edit with this.

It is being used in our department and across the organization. It allows us to create/edit branded PDFs for use with front-end clients. We use it to create both traditional PDFs and form-fillable PDFs. It's also used for one-pager guides and documents of that nature. Sometimes, we use it to sign documents.
  • Create PDFs
  • Scan Form
  • Convert other filetypes to PDFs
  • User Interface
  • Usability
  • Create PDF from webpage
It's super easy for Adobe Acrobat to create PDFs from other file types. We use it daily for this purpose. For instance, a financial advisor might need to create a one-page document to distribute about an event, at which case we would then create it using Adobe Acrobat. If the document needs to have more design elements in it, then it would not be appropriate.

We use Adobe Acrobat for all of our PDFs that run through projects. It's perfect for highlighting within academic articles to help us with strategic positioning day to day. We use the comment feature to add our thoughts and work as a team without having to be in person. It also allows us to edit previous documents with charts and analytics that we can then copy over to presentations. It's very simple to use and allows us to easily navigate day to day projects.
  • Easy Exporting - Whether that be taking articles from the internet and turning them into PDFs or transforming our Microsoft powerpoints into easy to read PDFs.
  • When I got this job, Adobe Acrobat made it very easy for me to sign my onboarding documents, and I often use the sign feature in my personal and corporate life.
  • The comment feature allows my team to work effectively and efficiently together despite being in a hybrid workspace.
  • Sometimes I have issues with getting Adobe Acrobat to load. It may be a personal computer problem, but it is one of the only apps I struggle with loading documents.
  • The highlight feature is sensitive, causing me to have to zoom in close if I want to highlight specific areas near text that is already highlighted.
  • The scroll feature can be sensitive as well when I present files to my team over Microsoft Teams. I am not sure if there is a setting that can fix that so it would be nice to know.
Adobe Acrobat was critical for me while I was in college and doing internships as I worked as a graphic/web designer. It made exporting proper files really quick and easy. My uses for it with my current job are slightly different, but it is an integral part of my daily work day, and I can imagine not having access to it.
