Pros and Cons
- Easy setup.
- Their web UI is really easy to use.
- The restore process is easy.
- No extra hardware needed.
- Small Files restore (like a lot of 1kb files) will take some time due to process they call rehydration.

Pros and Cons
- Easy to deploy - Druva are a great company to deal with, and will help get things running, but like their other products, Phoenix is not difficult to implement if you know your stuff.
- Great de-duplication - backups are deduped across the entire estate, leading to very efficient storage usage.
- Phoenix is fast - backups complete quickly, even initial full backups are quick, relative to their size.
- The UI is good, but a bit inconsistent. Some types of backups are shown differently to others. It never gets in the way, but a bit more consistency would be good.
- The system is usage based, which is understandable, but a shock after using inSync, their other backup product, which is not. Careful planning and thought is needed if you are on a tight budget

- Easy to deploy, it takes minutes to be up and running.
- Easy to use and flexible, the web console is intuitive and makes it easy to configure and monitor the status of your backups.
- Reliable. Once you have set up your policies and servers, it works by itself.
- Reporting, it can be hard to tell the actual amount of space consumed by a specific recovery point.
- DRaaS is not easy to deploy since you have to work on AWS and Phoenix.
- It does not provide a solution for Azure workloads.

- Supporting their product with excellent service staff who are knowledgeable and relatable
- Improve visibility into how much each system costs to backup

Pros and Cons
- Druva is easily configurable and deployable on an enterprise level.
- Druva service and support are knowledgeable and quick to respond.
- Druva provides a comprehensive dashboard that allows managers to get a quick overview of the enterprise backups.
- We ran into some complications running on legacy systems (pre-2008) but worked with Druva support to find a workaround.

- we need the ability to have API driven (agentless) backups of Azure server workloads
- for IaaS, phoenix must be cost competitive to platform backup services in AWS, Azure, etc.

- Interface could use a revamp to be more intuitive.

- Appliances could upload faster if allowed to utilize more than 1023mbps.

- It is easy to use.
- It is cost-efficient in comparison to competitors.
- It is HIPAA compliant.
- They sign a Business Associate Agreement with your organization if necessary.
- Depending on the size of your business, it can be cost-prohibitive since the minimum purchase is a year's worth of service.
- You do need someone who knows what they are doing to set up the backups and make sure you don't over-consume your credits with crazy retention policies.

- The global deduplication of data technology helps our data storage go 10x further than other solutions.
- Easy to install and get your first backups going
- Easy to restore previous versions of files
- We haven't had trouble running the client on unsupported versions of CentOS, but we would like them to keep up as we won't sacrifice VM security because of the backup solution.

- Unattended - it just works.
- Works well with Hyper-V.
- Not really come across anything that I've been displeased with.
- I've not had the need to do a complete restore so I can't speak to the restore process, individual restores work fine.

- Support was immediately helpful for me.
- The tutorials provided are very informative.
- It would be nice to have more control over levels if different users - specifically in controlling what email notifications the second admin receives.
- While the tutorials give great instructions, perhaps setting up some jobs could be a little more intuitive.

Pros and Cons
- Recoverability: The speed with which backups can be located and restored is the best I've ever seen.
- Visibility: it's easy to keep an eye on what's successfully backing up and, more importantly, what's not.
- Availability: Anywhere, anytime; if you need to recover data in a jiffy you're not tied to a specific local server interface - the web console is easily accessible from anywhere.
- Simplicity: Configuration of backup jobs is straightforward and guides easily followable.
- I'd like to see a mobile app.
- The main (default) dashboard is a tinsy bit cluttered. By default, there are irrelevant entries for inSync and CloudRanger alongside Phoenix. I just want Phoenix, nothing else. I guess it's just their way of exposing their other products to unsuspecting users. A really minor niggle.
- I can't see how to enable MFA; it's certainly an option for Druva's CloudRanger product. This might just be me being dim/blind.
- It's always difficult to come up with negatives when you've only had great experiences with a product.
