I needed a product that was easy to use and learn for our staff. This product did all of that. No one had any issues switching to this product and learning how to use it. They all are able to use it without any difficulty. This is a great product for us.

It started off as price because it is significantly more affordable than the competition. Then once we started really using the product we started to realize all of the great features that it has that are more than comparable to adobe. We enjoy the fact that we don't lack any features and we also don't have an annoying monthly fee.

We like to buy a software that with:
1. All the feature we like and need; and
2. Not needing to pay extra for the feature added but not needed.
Kofax is not developed specifically for accountant so even though, we may be using 50% of its features. (e.g. Never touch the cloud feature or the security feature.) The selling point is that when I see an improvement in the software, then I can choose to buy, not being "forced" to buy features I don't need. Insofar, that is Kofax current price model and the one thing I really like about it.

I would say the single most important factor in my decision to purchase Kofax Power PDF for my new company is prior experience with the product (Nuance Power PDF). I used this program at my previous company and was very familiar with the features and usability. Beyond this, I did compare the features and price to product offerings from other providers, but Kofax Power PDF was the obvious choice given the features available and the price.
