Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series
I was tasked with finding the best 'bang for your buck' VoIP system. After comparing 8x8 with other major competitors, it was a no-brainer. The price is unbeatable, the support is there when I need it, and I have no intention of switching to a new provider anytime soon.
- Video conferencing.
- Phone calls.
- Text messaging.
- More efficient user setup from the administrator end.
- Reduce the amount of times there is no audio when answering the phone.
- Cheaper than the previous PBX provider.
- Great for hybrid work environments.
- Team communication improved.

Evaluating 8x8 X Series and Competitors
Yes - Nitel landline PBX system was replaced by 8x8. It was cheaper to switch and we were able to remove our desk phones and clear up space in the server room.

I would not change our selection process. The biggest competition was Zoom phone, but since we are in the Microsoft ecosystem, it didn't make sense to use the Zoom phone.
