Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)

8x8 X Series helps me and my employees stay in contact with our clients whether we are in the office or on the road. This allows us to continue our standard of service and support that our clients expect from us.
  • The ability for customers to "find you" if you are out of the office.
  • Getting voicemails copies via Email.
  • Integrating with your contact database for easy calling.
  • We would like the ability to set your desk phone to a particular greeting and/or mode from the softphone software.
  • Voice to text conversation of VM.
  • Improve the Mac integration.
  • Easy to use.
  • Customers seem happy with the system and I haven't gotten any complaints. Happy customers = profit. Hopefully.
We were an early adopter of VOIP. I can't remember previous venders, but 8x8 has been the best in my experience.
I get pretty good support, but have had issues implementing a new feature that has not been activated for a good month now. Multiple Emails to support have not resolved it.

It is a very scalable product, so I can't think of a scenario where you wouldn't use it. Maybe if you were a self-owned business with no employees.
