Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I use Adobe Acrobat on a daily basis. We manage large educational books and other literature and Adobe Acrobat allows us to use "edit .pdf" without opening each and every individual file to do so. This is a real time-saver for us. When we submit art for review, several marketing specialists and/or managers will ask specifically for a .pdf file to share with their client to gather their feedback. Adobe Acrobat is easily opened by most and can also gather notes, comments. I'd have a very hard time getting my job done without access to Adobe Acrobat.
  • Easily opened by most users
  • Ability to "edit .pdf"
  • Combine, rearrange, delete and/or add pages
  • I have a hard time "scrolling" multiple pages at times
  • Some comments are hidden when a .pdf file is just "opened" from a server, or webdam
  • I'd love to be able to take an entire screenshot of an email for proofing!
  • Adding proofing comments
  • Editing a .pdf within Acrobat
  • Creating fillable files
  • Ease of Use
I did not make the decision, but I fully agree with it! We have a team membership for the Adobe Creative Suite, and made sure to add access to Adobe Acrobat for all the creative team members.
  • Improved security by adding privacy on documents
  • We spend at least 50% less time on editing educational materials
  • 100% effective in creating fillable files for our large client base
We would not have clients without being able to provide security and compliance standards!

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat is very useful when editing existing .pdf files for simple edits. Adobe Acrobat has the ability to add, delete, move pages around. Adobe Acrobat gives the user the ability to add comments, etc. to a .pdf. Adobe Acrobat would not, or should not, be used to edit a source art file.
