Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use Adobe Acrobat to share documents that have been completed in other programs that others do not have access to or should not be able to edit. It provides a consistent and professional platform for sharing documents of all kinds via email, marketing automation programs, media management tools, and our website.
  • It allows us to share and collaborate documents created in programs such as InDesign, Photoshop and others that the average person does not traditionally have acess to.
  • It's an excellent way to share and e-sign agreements and other documents
  • It allow us to share very large file sizes in a condensed document
  • The UI is overdue for some significant more user friendly updates
  • It feels like Acrobat has become bloated and sometimes runs slow on equipment that should be up to the tasks.
  • If you have the free version of Acrobat on your computer it will sometimes default to that no matter what steps you take to make sure it always opens in Pro.
  • Ability to save almost any file type as a PDF File
  • Ease of sharing documents for collaboration
  • Ability to create professional small sized electronic customer facing documents that are easy to email or access via the web.
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Integration with other systems and ease of use are generally the most important feature of any software.
  • The only negative has been the inability to manage all of the different licenses in one place. We have had representative from Adobe contact us about consolidation, but there is not easy way for us to make this happen given our accounting operations.
Any product that helps prevent security breaches is of immense value to our organization.
Acrobat is the standard. Why consider any other?

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

It's great as a universal platform for sharing completed documents created in other software, specifically if you would prefer they are not easily edited by the recipient. It's also very useful for e-signing and sharing agreements. While editing document is possible in Acrobat Pro it is generally best, easier, and less frustrating to make the edits in the source file and recreate the PDF file after the edits have been made.
