Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use Acrobat on a daily basis. My job is art director. After I've designed a piece, I create a PDF to send to the marketers for review and markup. I receive the PDF back with their edits and comments. Another useful feature is the ability to make interactive PDFs with live links and fillable forms. Finally, when a job is complete and approved, we send high resolution PDFs to the printer and it's very efficient to have all fonts and imaged embedded in one file. This program is invaluable to our agency. I have always found it to work seamlessly, contributing to a smooth workflow in our company.
  • high or low resolution proofs for editing or printing
  • ability to create fillable forms
  • ability to create digital PDFs with live links
  • ability to edit text within the application
  • it would be nice if images were editable in the application
  • can you embed video?
  • can you embed audio?
  • being able to mark up a proof with edits
  • the capability of generating final high res files
  • the ability to create digital files for posting online

My company purchased it, not me. And this was many years ago. But it greatly enhanced our workflow.

The learning curve was extremely easy. It is a very user friendly program.

  • It has greatly enhanced ur efficiency

it has increased our security which is something we take great strides to achieve.
We use all Adobe products. Adobe is the industry standard. I appreciate that they are constantly improving their products.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

We use it for creating proofs and final high rez files to go to press. Occasionally we have imported it as a placed image in inDesign, but I don't think that is the best use of a PDF.
