Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
We are using Adobe Captivate Prime to provide training to our external partners who need training. Specifically, we use it as a platform that our sellers can logon to and learn about our products and how to talk to our customers about them. Initially we were using Salesforce to do trainings for external, but it did not have the capabilities and functionality that a full-LMS, such as Adobe Captivate Prime, had to offer. We have a separate learning management platform for internal training.
- The user interface is simple and easy to use compared to other systems.
- It produces dashboards with data that can be viewed across offering in the system.
- The way it groups translations together for different languages is helpful for searchability and manageability.
- Some of the reporting features are limited. Like being able to pull completely custom reports and have more fields available.
- Some of the predefined roles don't provide as much flexibility as needed for reports, forcing more admin-access than necessary.
- More customization on the user's home page would be a bonus.
- We can spend less time dealing with issues that come up with a custom solution to training.
- Course uploads work well and are generally compatible with this platform.
- Hard to show differentiation between sub-groups within our organization with the lack of customization in the platform.
Speaking from a user testing side of things, I didn't have too much difficulty in testing potential deployments. As an organization we implemented this fairly quickly. Basically moving most of our courses over in the span of 9 months and getting users into the system shortly after. Captivate Prime could have better documentation to cover some of the more nuance questions that our team had to test out in scenarios to see if it was possible. This would save time on initial deployment and isn't always captured in the basics.
N/A - I haven't directly communicated with the Customer Success Manager. Second hand, I know that they have been willing to make accommodations for our organization - including looking at the functionality of various things to make sure it meets our needs.
Sales and Partner Training
I was not involved in the purchase decision, only in testing and implementation.
