Overall Satisfaction with ADP SmartCompliance
ADP SmartCompliance is only being used by the Payroll Team to processes Taxes and more recently Garnishments. We have 4-5 team members in SmartCompliance on a daily basis doing the tax and garnishment funding. 3 team members work within SmartCompliance to balance our tax returns and ensure everything is transmitted to ADP and filed.
We recently implemented Garnishments which has removed most of the manual work we have done in house. ADP SmartCompliance loads the employee withholding orders directly into our system and our pay results are sent directly to SmartCompliance to generate invoices and funding to the Credit Agencies.
We have been using ADP SmartCompliance for multiple years and the processes are starting to change for the better as ADP has continually updated SmartCompliance. We are now able to resolve exceptions for accounts that need to be registered through SmartCompliance and use the Registration Services via SmartCompliance. Quarter Amendments are also easier to handle now as we can see the QTD and YTD info by employee through the QTI tool. Or we can send a quarter file from our system for a previous quarter that ADP can process as an amendment.

Using ADP SmartCompliance
5 - We have two Payroll Processors that handle garnishments and use ADP SmartCompliance to process the withholding orders. They are responsible for ensuring the records are uploaded to ADP and employee's are receiving credits for overfunded withholding orders.

5 - We have five employees that are actively using ADP. These employees all have analytic skills and are able to research and analyze using the data ADP provides. Each employee has general understanding of how to use Excel and other Microsoft applications. These employees also have higher level writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate with our vendor and employees.
