Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Everyone in our organization is currently using ADP Workforce Now. It is utilized for our payroll, HR functions, benefits, and employee self-service. ADP has made day to day workflow simpler and it has also allowed more time for other important tasks. Instead of employees coming to HR for changing their direct deposit etc., they can now do it on their own through ADP which eliminates that task for HR. ADP is a win-win for all because the employees are more aware of their personal information, and it has created more time in the day and saves us money!
  • ADP is able to calculate accruals and it configured our rules without any problems including yearly roll overs.
  • The payroll process is simplified.
  • ADP does all our payroll quarterly reporting, all we have to do is verify the reports.
  • I would like to see EEO4 job categories. ADP only has EEO1 categories.
  • I would like to see the app function like the site online. Cannot approve time cards on a weekly basis.
  • When calculating someone's annual salary it defaults to 80 hours bi-weekly. The majority of our workers do not have a standard 80-hour pay cycle. It would be nice to adjust that default to their projected annualized summary. For example, police officers work 85.5 hours bi-weekly and some work 84 hours bi-weekly. For the fire department, some people work 106 hours, some work 109, and some work 109.25. The problem is when the salary amount is incorrect for the employees that do not work 80 hours in a pay cycle.
  • I do not measure ROI, but I have heard it has been worth the investment.
  • The time ADP have saved is worth the cost. It used to take 3 days to do payroll and now it takes a half day.
  • ADP is less expensive than our previous payroll software.
Our HR team has saved over 50 hours per month. - I would say this has saved our HR team and my self numerous hours a month. This is due to employee self-service, our benefits having carrier connections, streamlined reporting, and a very quick payroll process. All of the services have saved time and we haven't even scratched the surface of all the modules ADP has to offer.
Other payroll software doesn't even come close to ADP Workforce Now. We were using Davisco for timekeeping and then we transferred that to our accounting/payroll system SmartFusion. When we would transfer the data from Davisco to SmartFusion the two systems did not talk to each other very well, making the payroll process lengthy due to having to make several manual adjustments.
ADP Workforce Now is well suited for payroll. I love the reports, especially the employee changes report. It has made payroll a breeze because it is a very simple program to use. I have found the reporting tool to be more challenging. Even though I have watched many training videos on how to report, sometimes it takes me a while to figure out the report I want to run. The file grabber and The Bridge have been excellent recourses to assist on tricky reports, but it would be nice if there was a simpler way and to generate reports based on a single employee.
