Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP WFN across the organization. Our hourly people use it to clock in and out, and employees use it to view pay statements and their health benefits. My department uses it for payroll and benefit deductions.
  • Quick to process the payroll.
  • Good with systematic notifications.
  • Customer service - it's usually a 50/50 chance of getting someone good when I call in, and there have been multiple times when I've received completely different answers to the same question.
  • Special payrolls - there should be a way to send all of the money to one checking or savings account if the employee has multiple. For example, we just completed our bonus payroll and we wanted the bonus to only go to one account, and it was a complicated process to do this one simple thing.
  • I'm not sure it really has an impact. ADP WFN does what we need.
  • But I will say that they nickle and dime us, so maybe it's a negative impact? It seems as though once we've paid one invoice, another one comes in for another random amount.
Aesthetically, it has gone through some changes and it looks more up-to-date, but behind the scenes it can be a bit clunky. If it wants to be scalable, it should not only update its looks but also its functions.
  • iCIMS
iCIMS is an applicant tracking and onboarding system, and it was fairly easy to integrate with ADP. When I click "Hire" in iCIMS, the candidate's info goes directly into ADP. It works pretty seamlessly.
I actually haven't used any others. The companies I've worked for already had ADP implemented when I was hired, so I was not involved in the decision-making process.
For the most part when it comes to payroll, they do know what they're doing regarding calculations and taxes and compliance. But when it comes to special situations and their customer service, they leave a lot to be desired.
