Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

At my organization, AlphaSense is our go-to for all research and news. Market research is made very easy with AlphaSense. For example, our company was looking into clinical development opportunities in a new disease area and needed to see what analysts/banks were saying about it. With AlphaSense, this was very easy - all we had to do was run a search with the disease area, and several relevant results from the most reputable banks/analysts were available. Additionally, in biotech, new approvals and data readouts happen nearly every day - it can be difficult to keep track of it all. With AlphaSense, we can do a quick scan of all the announcements/news related to our relevant company sets and have a report ready almost immediately.

  • Allows for easy searches with key words highlighted throughout their documents.
  • Provides access to analyst reports from nearly all of the top banks.
  • Allows for relevant alerts to be sent to my email (easy to set this up).
  • It would be very helpful if AlphaSense collected / organized financial data (revenue projections, models) from analyst reports.
  • 75%+ efficiency / productivity gained.
  • Deeper competitive insights (able to screen 2x the amount of companies).
  • Broader content sources/analyst opinions and models (have made our own modeling much more efficient).
AlphaSense's platform is very intuitive. I find that it is much easier to use than many other competing market intelligence platforms. For those that struggle with new platforms, AlphaSense also provides hands-on training and demonstrations that will make your transition to the platform seamless. Additionally, all AlphaSense users have a dedicated account representative that is available to answer any and all questions you may have.
I use them primarily to analyze the competitive landscape and use these insights to inform our business decisions. The dashboards I am able to create are perfect for this, as all competitive updates are presented in a clear and concise way. AlphaSense makes it easy for me to scan through these dashboards quickly and pick out the relevant information.
AlphaSense is much easier to use and seems to provide greater access to news sources/analyst reports. The platform is much more intuitive and searches are more straightforward.

AlphaSense is well-suited for most business research applications. Some scenarios where AlphaSense is useful are in market research (including analyst reporting), industry news, and competitive intelligence. These are areas/tasks that typically take a lot of time out of my day but are made quick and easy with AlphaSense. I can confidently say that the time it takes to conduct my research/work has been cut down by more than 75%, purely based on how organized AlphaSense is. AlphaSense is less appropriate for more detailed analytical and financial work, largely due to the lack of financial, sales, and deals data on the platform - this data can be found on AlphaSense, but the platform is not optimized for this type of work.
